It is an experiment of the combination with art creation of fabric sculpture and performing arts. The performers in the opera are kindergarten teachers mainly from remote towns in Guangxi, China. They are non-professional performers. The professional actors usually refuse new stage art creation because they think the opera isn’t suitable for their learned performing modes. Such fabric sculptures are usually considered by professional actors as barriers of performance. However, having had no professional training of performance, the kindergarten teachers accept the art form of fabric sculpture and perform naturally on the stage. The kindergarten teachers versed in accepting the extraordinary performance costumes have played the demonstrative role in open education of operas. Besides, it is worth exploring the connection among artistic creation of fabric sculpture, performance design and fashion design.
