In 2015 TNUA version, the director arranged the alternation of imitating between “Characters” and “Theatre practitioners”, which expressed the dialectic of this play. The relationship between these two groups are more than just the contrast between REAL and ABSTRACT but also the “temporary” and “permanent”. We tried to extend the viewpoint from audience to the world out of theatre. The relation are just like a concentric circle, closely effecting each other. By setting different light tones between rehearsal room, characters’ world and the REALITY (with the audience), I tried to help audience clarify the dividing line in the theatre. On the other hand, my design concept came to A SLICE OF REALITY. To my point of view, the reality of drama only happened in some moments. The emotion may be caused by some words, sounds or the lights. Once you are touched, you would completely forget that you are in the auditorium.
